For a long time – for about a year to be exact – nothing happened on this blog. While so much was happening on my journey across Australia and my visits to Singapore, Indonesia, Fiji and Vanuatu, I simply did not know where to start. So I never did.
As I had settled down on the Central Coast for a while, I was thinking about bringing the blog back to life again, but was too busy in my job as a store manager. Now that I have started travelling again and there is some things to talk about and some pictures to show, I finally made my decision to re-open this blog with a new strategy.
Instead of keeping everyone informed about every step of my journey, in the future I will post about a place at a time. This could be a town, a national park, a beach or any other point of interest that I either have been to and would to share with you, or a place that I am currently at. No matter which one of these, only the best and most interesting places will be reviewed in this blog.
Coming up is a what I would call a summary of amazing spots throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and maybe occasionally some from my visits to South East Asia. From secret beaches to famous cities, from stunning attractions to wildlife and national parks…
Let this be an inspiration or even your personal guide to an amazing holiday downunder.

hab ein paarmal versucht, dich zu erreichen, nachdem man Monatelang hier nix im Blog gehört hatte und du dich durch die wilden Teile von Australien geschlagen hast Schön zu hören, dass du noch lebst. Kannst ja im Blog mal eine kurze Zusammenfassung davon machen, was im letzten Jahr so passiert ist, war immer interessant dir zu folgen und zu sehn, dass es bei dir doch noch prima läuft – war ja in good old Germany nicht immer der Fall. Ich vermute jetzt mal nicht, dass du noch viel zum Schlagzeugen kommst? Bist du noch ab und an in der alten Heimat? Muss immernoch als an die Zeit bei Sqirb denken, auch wenn ich leider alle Bilder und Musik bei nem Festplattencrash verloren hab. Bademantelrock!
